Columbia U. PING - Anyone see Hannity tell his guest "Do you need help?"
Self

Anyone see Bill Hartung being interviewed by Hannity regarding the professor at Columbia? Priceless.
Hartung yells at Hannity, "put your finger down. Don't point that finger at me. I'll give you another finger". Hannity: "go right, ahead".
And then Hartung says to Alan, "Alan, is it just Hannity's show, or do you do anything here?".
I think Hannity asked the guy if he needed or was on medication. I remember Hannity saying, "Do you need HELP"?
Alan, to his credit, said to the guy, "Don't insult my cohost like that" (and Hannity gave Colmes a "thumbs-up"). Pricless.
Another comment was, "I know how you (Hannity) and O'Reilly operate. Trying to scare and dominate your guests".
What a loser. What could have been an interview turned into "must see" TV (watch pathetic liberal loser get hostile towards BOTH Sean and Alan).
I hope they re-run the "interview" later tonight or tomorrow.

I saw it and was blown away. The guy's behavior was terrible. I already emailed him (his email address is at the bottom of his bio, below) and emailed Hannity. Unbelievable.

I posted about this a few minutes ago and for some reason the entire thread was deleted.
On SEVERAL occasions I have seen people post the e-mail address and contact phone # of people who we should contact to express our displeasure, but for some reason, the moderator will NOT let me post this info which I had previously.
Can anyone back me up on this??? I will gladly post this info if I an given permission.

That was my thought .He accused Hannity of putting words in his mouth and Coombs said no he didn't(well, he was going to!)That remark about the finger was bizarre. It was a meltdown.

he was giving Sean the finger, by holding his hand with his middle finger up on the right side of his face!!! I guess he thought only Sean would see it and not the audience. What a childish jerk!
To: JimDingle
I thought he did give him the finger. Right after the 'episode' he had his hand at the side of his face with what looked like his middle finger beside his ear. They showed the side shot a few times.

He actually asked Shawn (in a violent tone) "do you want a different finger".
He was totally out of line.

That was wildly entertaining television. Very compelling.
"Are you all right?"
Bwa ha ha ha ha. I can guarantee you Hartung is a DU poster. He might have been built in their lab. LOL

Judging the way Bill Hartung acted he spent the majority of his high school days time stuffed in a locker after a few atomic wedgies. He was super defensive to the 10th power.
My first post here. I have been lurking for a few days. Nice to meet you guys.

Thanks for clarifying who this jackass is. From his resume, it is clear he has never had a real job in his life, and is in the business of knowing better than you. He is an insufferable pseudo-intellectual. His social skills appear to be non-existent and he does not manage either stress or argument well. He should stick to writing those books that no one reads and wasting grant money on his bullsh*t.

Another interesting assertion was Hartung's "claim" that the professor at Columbia is NOT -- NOT anti-war. Hartung: "If this professor was anti-war, he wouldn't have wished a million mogasidshus on U.S. troops. If he was anti-war, he'd want the safe return of troops, like the protestors". WTF?! "The professor at Columbia is not pro-war", snarled Hartung.
No kidding, he's an advocate of genocide (and a traitor), IMHO.

Did you see the way Ollie looked at the MARINES not at the camera...(unlike Jerry) He is such a man. To say the guys out there must love him is to understate the case so badly, but I can't think of any better way to put it.
As far as the Hartung dude, I freeped him before the other thread got pulled (I didn't know it was wrong... I swear!)
I wont repeat the link, but here's what I said:
You and Hannity weren't that far apart
He thought the guy was a traitor and should be fired.
You thought the guy was a traitor and should merely be ostracized.
Hannity usually gets along fine with people of opposing views.
That said, you're the biggest pantywaist I've ever seen on television. You're a disgrace, and you ought to be ashamed of yourself.
Stay out of the kitchen if you can't take the heat, weak sister.

"Don't point your finger at me!" This is just what I was hoping Ari Fliescher was going to tell Bill Plante of CBS at the briefing tho other day. That A-hole was pointing both fingers saying "you guys did nothing to lower expectaions yada, yada, yada." I was so hoping Ari would tell him to please not point your fingers at me, A-hole.

He also kept saying "I know how you work, I know what you do here!"
OK, so, why did you come if being there was going to cause you to lose it? He was extremely defensive. My guess he has been catching flack for a bit.

Bill Hartung works for something called the "World Policy Institute" which looks like a liberal think tank (forgive my use of an oxymoron )
http://www.worldpolicy.org/media/media.html The guy even tore into Alan Colmes some.
