"Petroskey is the one making it a political statement in the first place. It's total fascism."

You aren't aware of any difference between an oppressive form of government and personal freedom, are you?

"All I am saying in this situation is that Petroskey is attempting to suppress his opposition."

Ohhh, REAlllly?

Just a couple of posts ago you said:

"All Petroskey has to do is talk to Robbins and ask him not to turn it into a peace rally in the first place."

So - how is asking Robbins to shut the hell up a different form of "fascism" than simply un-inviting him?

Both wind up in the same for of "fascism", as you think this is.

He [Robbins] also noted that he didn't know baseball was a "Republican sport."

This guy Robbins is in complete denial. 81% of Americans approve of this war. Does he honestly think they're all Republicans?

"Look up fascism in the dictionary. I'm using it in this context which is totally accurate."

before this you said:

"Petroskey is the one making it a political statement in the first place. It's total fascism."

Fascism:

1. A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.

2. A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government. Oppressive, dictatorial control.

"Totally accurate" huh?

Please explain how Petroskey is a government, how he is suppressing the opposition through terror, how he is implementing stringent socioeconomic controls, etc. etc. etc. Wouldn't Petroskey have to do all this to get to "total fascism"?

thanks for using the word "total" and its forms so often. It makes your statements so much more accurate.

Petroskey must have reason to believe that he couldn't trust robbins and his old "lady". Trust is not to be handed out easily to a speaker to a large audience. Robbins lost that trust, and he was yanked.
