Correction: Washington is mostly blue, with the exception of the I-5 corridor. Seattle is nearly as red as communist China.

I think you're right!
It really bothered me when the map from the election had the Bush states in RED... would have been so much better in BLUE!!! The article above only confirms it too!
Especially when I think of the Seattle area! (I work in education too, so you can imagine how communist that is at times).
I hope you're in a "RED" (which should be blue IMO) area! I'm sure not!
