That's pretty close. I wonder what a rock that size would've done if it had hit. Would it burn up or would it have made it to the ground in a size capable of inflicting damage?

Depends on the type of meteorite. One that's mostly iron would hold together, and make a crater. Not catastrophic (except to you, if it landed within a mile of your house!) One that's rocky would be more apt to break up in the atmosphere, and one more like a dirty snowball would definitely do so.
