I received this message from a fellow FReeper earlier today and am following through on the request.
Could you set up a thread where everyone could either bring virtual flowers or notes of condolences or pictures or a moment of silence or even music.
I believe we must all show our love and grief for Terri and her family and less rancor on this thread.

I urge all those who honor Terri Schiavo to continue to work to build a culture of life where all Americans are welcomed and valued and protected, especially those who live at the mercy of others. Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give Your Angels and Saints charge over those who sleep.
Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ. Rest Your weary ones. Bless Your dying ones. Sooth Your suffering ones. Pity Your afflicted ones. Shield Your joyous ones, and all for Your love's sake.
St. Augustine
God grant eternal rest and peace for the soul of Terri. May he guide and comfort her family through this difficult time.

Gospel
Lk 24:35-48
The disciples of Jesus recounted what had taken place along the way,
and how they had come to recognize him in the breaking of bread.
While they were still speaking about this,
he stood in their midst and said to them,
"Peace be with you."
But they were startled and terrified
and thought that they were seeing a ghost.
Then he said to them, "Why are you troubled?
And why do questions arise in your hearts?
Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself.
Touch me and see, because a ghost does not have flesh and bones
as you can see I have."
And as he said this,
he showed them his hands and his feet.
While they were still incredulous for joy and were amazed,
he asked them, "Have you anything here to eat?"
They gave him a piece of baked fish;
he took it and ate it in front of them.
He said to them,
"These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you,
that everything written about me in the law of Moses
and in the prophets and psalms must be fulfilled."
Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.
And he said to them,
"Thus it is written that the Christ would suffer
and rise from the dead on the third day
and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins,
would be preached in his name
to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
You are witnesses of these things."

Thanks for the kind words.
I just said what was in my heart. These have been a dark and sad 13 days for me. And the worst Easter of my life.
This situation made me feel so helpless.
But--I am NOT helpless--and in the future I am going to fight even harder for those who truly are helpless. That is what I am going to do for Terri.
All my best to you, and my fellow freepers--I appreciate each and every soul who had the compassion, intelligence and kindness to care about the welfare of an innocent and powerless soul.

Saints of God, come to her aid!
Hasten to meet her, angels of the Lord.
Receive her soul and present it to God, present her soul to God most high.
May Christ, who called you, take you to himself;
may angels lead you to the bosom of Abraham.
Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
Receive her soul and present it to God, present her soul to God most high.
To: Ohioan from Florida
Thank you, Ohioan.
I pray that what condolences and prayers we strangers offer in the way of letters or cards to the family provide them some measure of solace and hope and that they come to understand -- if they don't already -- that their fight was not in vain even if they were unable to save their daughter's life.

love the picture..you captured a nice memory
Remember Terri was on a win/win voyage. Life if the feeding was continued or death and be with God. The only people that lose are the ones that did not feel the love for Terri.
Terri is with God and those losers are with us and that will be like hell for them, cause they awoke the spiritual dragon on all of us.
