I thought that 2004 Earthquake 9.1 in Indonesia causing the devastating Tsunmai had some affect on the earth’s wobble and time, at least that is what has been reported from the Scientific Community....

In recent days..
7.5 in Indonesia once again
2 in California
4.1 in San Diego today...

I am sure many of these earthquakes has some effect on earth’s wobble....

The Bible speaks of a Devastating Earthquake that will affect the entire planet...

Algore might say we must use rockets, but Obama could require everyone on earth to face east when they fart, thus adding to the rotation speed and saving the planet from global warming.

If that is the case, give me a case of beer, two dozen eggs made "deviled", and a plate of burritos, or cabbage and corned beef, and I will solve the problem singlehandedly.

Of course, someone will have to cover my carbon credits, and get the appropriate permits from the state...

Heh! I’ll take your word for it. Of course, Obama would have to outlaw Beano.

[The “flood” is a local tribal myth and never happened. The idea that it has been precisely dated at 11,100 BC is fiction as well. ]

Well, not such a tribal myth really. The seal level has risen about 340 feet since the glacial sea level minimum which I believe was about 14,000 years ago (there is a chart I will find). Whether the 340 ft happened all at once or not, there certainly were many inundations occurring in the near history time period.

Do remember that the entire Sahara desert was an inland sea since the time the earliest humans first stood upright...

Note the Pulse 1A, which would have certainly made "The Flood" more than a tribal myth.

No need for the chart; your recollection is correct.

But that sea level rise was spread over thousands of years, with most prior to about 5,000 years ago.

Where you got major floods was not the sea level rise itself, but when it breached barriers and filled low lying areas.

The Black Sea appears to have been one such example, and it is likely that this is where the original flood story originated.

Other nice floods resulted from glacial ice dams. When they melted and released the pooled up meltwater you got major floods: google "channeled scablands" for one good example.

That is a lot of info to ponder.

Here in Texas, the climate is described as, drought conditions with intermittent flooding. Simple enough.

I’m sorry I thought you meant something totally different...

Yes I understand what you mean now, it seems the surge in those quakes is something I have been reading on national geographic.

There’s been a surge in the uplift of the magma domes under the lake, recently. It could be a cause for worry.
