Still, the Christian faith is not a "religion of the book." Christianity is the religion of the "Word" of God, a word which is "not a written and mute word, but the Word which is incarnate and living." If the Scriptures are not to remain a dead letter, Christ, the eternal Word of the living God, must, through the Holy Spirit, "open minds to understand the Scriptures."

Christianity is a reality not a 'religion'. It gets labeled a religion by the unlearned or anti-Christian mind that will or can not accept reality and decides to do things their way. There is nothing new about this since the beginning of this flesh age.

John 1:1 says In the beginning (Genesis 1:1 and there is NO date given when this was) was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The 'Holy Spirit' or 'Comforter' is not going to fill a mind with anything that is anti-God in the name of Christ. However, it is also Written because of what some put into their minds, God said he would send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie.

Again Paul said what happened to them was written as our warning as to what would be again and even Solomon penned in Ecclesiastes 1:10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, 'See this is new?' it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

I gladly await the time when these that are in the business of making business in futile attempts to discredit the Bible as though they are seeing 'new' for the first time get exposed as charlatans for the dark side.
