Please pray for my Father
Hi all. I'm RedMDer's wife. My dad was diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma back in November. He's been through chemo and tolerated it very well, but now he's in Cleveland Clinic for stem cell transplant.
While this will be a very difficult time for him, by virtue of the fact that he's in the hospital for the next 3 weeks, we are very hopeful.
The prognosis is good that this will extend his life by 5 or 10 years, but it will still be a long, difficult haul. I ask that you pray for his strength, endurance, and ultimate remission.
I will be visiting him next weekend in an effort to boost his spirits, but prayer is a proven healing force.
I am asking for you prayers on the behalf of all of our family. God's ear is never full and prayers are never wasted.

In the name of Jesus Christ, the ultimate healer, I ask for a healing through his authority. May the Lord lay his healing hands on your father, may he wrap you and your family in his arms and comfort you. May the Lord guide the hands of the doctors, nurses, and technicians that are assisting your father as he works toward remission. Again, in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen

Lost my dad to AML (leukemia) three months ago. His treatments gave us 9 months. While I will say it was good for us to have him for that time, it was very hard for him. He is resting now.

Cleveland clinicis one of the top hospitals in the country and if I were fighting cancer it would be one fo the places I’d choose to go. Prayers up for him and for your whole family.
Prayers for his speedy recovery.
We all need to thank God when we wake up every morning, and make a summary of our days events and behavior when we go to bed at night. Its the best way I know to be grateful for every day.
