I’d venture to guess that such things have always happened.

At one point, the entire planet looked like a ‘snowball’.

These things have always happened. Now we just have more 24 hour “news” stations to remind us...

The Bible also talks about great changes in the Heavens, so we’re not quite there yet.

Words and phrases such as 'unprecedented', 'never before in living memory' are now common, and describe many of these events, and one has to wonder, what on earth is going on?

What's going on is the chroniclers are lunatics. Natural disasters have occured throughout human history and long before history started.

Does this mean we need to start doing the Chicken Little Dance instead of the Chicken Dance?

Hello? Extreme weather is always happening somewhere in the world. The saying is there’s a weather record being set somewhere every day.

The difference now is that we have an MSM as dedicated to playing up extreme weather in order to push the religion of Global Warming as they are to protect and defend the Lord Obama.

As for prophecies, ol’ Edgar Cayce is still my fave. He predicted a lot of this stuff before his death in 1945. The trouble is, these days his devotees never discuss his prophecies in detail anymore, as the strict timeline and dates for the tumultuous events he predicted begin in the late sixties and culminate around 2000, with fires, floods, earthquakes, land sinking here and arising there, etc.

By now, the aliens should have visited and Christ should have riz’ and the glorious new age begun (eight years ago, or so).

We have been reminded endlessly that "weather is not climate" during the last five or so years of "unnaturally" cold weather (brought on by the extended solar minimum). Now I am expect the global warming nuts to jump on the current heat waves as proof positive of their pet "Anthrogenic Global Warming" theory. Of course it makes no sense but then that's their hallmark isn't it?

Regards,
GtG
