I don’t think it’s bravery at all. I think its fear of what it would feel like to NOT crawl into that fire standing there watching two people burn to death.

I’ll disagree. It took incredible courage to step into that fire and rescue the child. He’s not a firefighter, wasn’t wearing any protective clothing, no special training. Just a man with balls bigger than his brains.

Having done this before I assure you it is not fear. It’s a gift. You keep your fear behind you a moment or two and go ahead and do what you need to do
