What I find ironic are people who insist on a literal interpretation, then INSIST that the events are COMPLETELY explainable within natural law. Like accepting a miracle is cheating.

If the flood is taken literally then what is being described is a tremendous miracle. God stepping out from behind His Natural Law, suspended it, completing his plan, then putting it all back like nothing had happened.

I’m open to either the miracle or the story as metaphor explanation. But to pretend it could have all happened within this the normal rules of nature? That’s just silly.
