The Holy Eucharist is indeed Jesus's actual flesh. Nothing symbolic.

Then why didn't Jesus just cut off part of his flesh and cut himself so he would actually be serving real flesh and blood?

By faith we accept that He knew what He was doing, that He had the authority to do it, and that He meant what He said.

How would a more theatrical approach ("cutting") be an improvement?
