ISIS has released another video depicting the slaughter of Christians in Libya, showing footage of two massacres in which 30 Ethiopian Christians were killed.
Before the executions a masked militant said: “To the nation of the cross, we’re back again… Muslim blood that was shed under the hands of your religion is not cheap.”
“We swear to Allah … you will not have safety even in your dreams until you embrace Islam,” he added.
Later a militant with a Yemeni accent said: “Those who convert to Islam are safe. Those who refuse, we don’t have anything for them but the sword.”
The atrocities were shown in a 29-minute video entitled Until There Came to Them Clear Evidence. In one massacre 15 Christians were beheaded; in the other 15 people were shot in the head.
The video sought to justify the way Christians were treated in ISIS-held areas. Interviews were shown with a Christian mechanic and a doctor living in Raqqa who said they had paid the jizya, an extortion tax on non-Muslims, and were living under ISIS’s protection.
The video said Christians needed to either pay the jizya, convert to Islam or face being killed.
In February a similar video was released showing the slaughter of 21 Christians from Egypt.
Over the weekend Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, was in Egypt to express his condolences over the killings. During his visit he met President al-Sisi, Pope Tawadros II, the head of the Egyptian Coptic Church, and Ahmed el-Tayeb, the grand imam of al-Azhar.
He delivered letters of condolences.

Can’t we just track who buys all these orange jumpsuits? I mean, they can track everything the wife buys and send me junk mail/emails. Why can’t we track the jumpsuit buyer and JDAM their butts?

ISIS killing Ethiopians? Isn’t this white men butchering black men? I would have thought Obama would have hashtagged it by now, and maybe played a special round of golf as a tribute to the fallen.
No I would have no problem with some selective carpet bombing and turning certain parts of the middle east into glass.
As long as it doesn’t push Obama’s Golf Handicap up, no biggie.
These type of things must be very distracting for him, especially when he is trying to sink a long Putt.
I thought the one released a few weeks ago, of 21 Christians killed on a Lybian beach, was discredited as a hoax. Not that they weren’t killed but that the video was doctored in some way.
Is this true? Does anyone know anything more about that one? Has this one been verified as 100% accurate?
