Of course God hates sin and the demonstration of how much He hates sin is his exacting the full punishment and condemnation for every sin of every person on the body of his beloved Son. IT IS FINISHED.
It is not finished for those who do not repent. It is not finished for those who reject God’s offer of peace and forgiveness. It is not finished for those who call God a liar and who rejoice in their sin and promote sin to others.
