gop_thug_mom is in ICU tonight because of complications following surgery.
She has an infection, is on three types of antibiotics, and was just given a blood transfusion.
I don't think she's been on FR for a while, but she and I are dear friends.
I know she and her family will appreciate your prayers very much.
Continued prayers.

I had a recent brush with eternity and escaped but I feel if a person is just and true to God and family either outcome is welcome.

Awww! Thank you so much. Thank you EVERY ONE for your prayers. My recovery has been miraculous. I had no idea going in for a much-needed hysterectomy would reveal a calcified and rotting uterus, with a couple of absesses in my abdomen. Much is a blurr, but I have a long recovery.
There have been several setbacks, including pancreatitis, but I’m closer to going home. :-) it would be helpful if pain medicines worked for me. At least I know they totally cleaned out my abdomen of infection.

Mrs. Infool7 had that last October, she was a real trooper but that’s very unpleasant.

Sounds like a nightmare, but it also sounds like it’s finally getting at least a *little* smaller in your rearview mirror. Praise God! Hopefully, you’ll be going home soon.
