My friend's aging parents are both experiencing rapidly increasing health problems and urgently need healing prayers. Dad(Harold) had surgery on his lower back and slowly recuperating and Mom(Myrna) is struggling with dementia and balance problems that have led to several falls. She is also experiencing a great deal of pain from digestive issues.
Prayer for the Terminally Ill
Merciful God, we remember before you all who are sick this day.
Give them courage to live with their disease.
Help them to face and overcome their fears.
Be with them when they are alone or rejected.
Comfort them when they are discouraged.
And touch them with your healing Spirit that they may find and possess eternal life, now and forever.
Amen.
Lord God, Jesus Christ, ease the suffering of Thy servants Myrna and Harold.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
Prayers for you and yours. Fervent prayers.
Please God give Infool7’s parents just a few more years on this earth.

Perhaps the reason for life is to understand our mortality, and to fully understand the process. To make our lives a prayer...a prayer of thanksgiving for every blessed moment. No matter what.

Sin brought the intruders of death, and age related diseases, into God's Creation - and all Adam's offspring will suffer the serpent's sting. Nonetheless, our Saviour has won a happy, and eternal future for all that believe on Him. May He keep Harold and Myrna close in His hands as they go through these trials.
A friend of mine asked me to pray for his elderly mother who is in the hospital tonight so I will add your mom and dad to my prayers.
