How about “vetting” your incorrect stmt about pope getting funds from parishes? Fyi, bishops control all funds within their dioceses, where they have full authority. This is not a matter of financial structure. If you don’t have the founding idea of apostolic succession, it’s understandable you’d make the error of not viewing the Church as a mystical body, but the simple and secular idea of a global corporation. It does not work that way.
Some bishops do take up one annual P.P. collection.

He did not stand up to the U.S. Congress on abortion.
He did not stand up to Ireland or Italy when they legalized queer marriage.
He stood down when visiting Cuba and Bolivia.
He has not stood up to Red China on its ruthless supression of the true Catholic Church or it’s one-child policy.
But he does stand up before the godless U.N. and extolls his global warming pet project. He even pimped out St. Peter’s Basilica for that purpose on the Feast of Our Lady’s Immaculate Conception.
And he refuses to answer the dubia.

Same thing happened in South Carolina with the pope’s alleged wall pronouncement when Trump was “endorsed” by Francis in a personal attack (which Francis never did personalize) during the primary. Because he (Francis) has never condemned the theological assertions made by followers of Islam I have no use for him.
