Interior Minister Matteo Salvini has protested to Italy’s leading Roman Catholic weekly, Famiglia Cristiana, after it compared him to Satan on its front cover because of his uncompromising stance over immigration.
“Go Back Salvini”, the influential magazine splashed on its cover, a clear reference to the medieval Catholic formula for the exorcism of a possessed person — “Go Back Satan”.

They call Trump hitler. Anyone who gets in the way of the leftist dream of destroying civilization is called hitler or the devil.
The pope, the cardinals, the bishops, etc. love to preach to the rest of us about immigration. Open your borders! Let everyone in!
Yet Vatican City has one of the most restrictive citizenship policies in the world. Even folks who have worked there for decades have no hope of getting Vatican citizenship.
And it’s not like there’s no room. There’s plenty of space in the Vatican gardens for some nice Section 8 type apartment buildings.
Seems like a strong delusion or something strongly akin to it.
The strong delusion is out there for sure.
Demonize your enemy, then kill them. That’s how the left has always thought. We are now demonized as “the far right” simply because we seek justice in immigration, which is not served by bringing in people who will not assimilate, and who will purposefully destabilize a host country when their numbers become big enough.
Nations have a right to protect their stability, culture, and citizenry and in fact, they have a duty to do so.
