Heavenly Father –

May we remember early September two important anniversaries:

(1) The 80th anniversary of the start of World War II—September 1, 1939.

(2) The end of World War II—September 2, 1945.

As Jesus said (Matthew 24:6):

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars,
but see to it that you are not alarmed.
Such things must happen,
but the end is still to come.

This war was the worst war, as for body count, in known human history, as explained: The Fallen of World War II

And to win, this war took us everything we got!

Afterwards, the world has entered “the Long Peace” during the last 70+ years. A “Pax Romana” defined as a lack of war among the rich nations.

Yet, I Thessalonians 5:3 warns:

While people are saying, “Peace and safety,”
destruction will come on them suddenly,
as labor pains on a pregnant woman,
and they will not escape.

In these evil days, we face a more covert and destructive war:

Pray that God’s people have a heart of repentance. Filled with the spirit. Empowered and equipped to fight this spiritual battle for the soul of our nation.

Likewise, may the Spirit from the heavenlies fill and empower President Trump and Vice President Pence. Grant them discernment, strength, and courage in these evil days.

May the Light of Truth pierce the darkness of deceptions, propaganda, hidden agendas, evil political machinations, corruption so entrenched like a cancer in all levels of government. May the Great Physician in Heaven purge and heal this cancer, so we may be whole.

And if it be Your will, may America reach for the heavens, physically and spiritually, and become great because our people put their trust in You.

Praise God for the warrior who is President Trump.
Praise God for the warriors in this spiritual war.
Father God, we lift up the family of the Wycliffe Bible translator who was slain this week and his wife who was mutilated. Lord, we ask for peace and comfort for this family.
Oh Lord, may we live to honor these heroes.
May we especially live to honor our hero, Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
