Holy of holies, Divine Father,
We worship You with thankfulness and praise!

May words of praise, telling of Your glory, saturate
all forms of media, surprising the faithful and filling the spiritually empty
with conviction!

Father, today our prayers are for our President and his administration. The coup has been like a wildfire in this nation, having started in many places as if by arsonists.

We come to You in faith that Your love, mercy and power can rain down to quench evil. We pray for Your words to speak through the President’s lawyers and defenders, and Your mysterious interventions will stifle the hatred and calumny of our Constitution’s enemies in the Senate hearings today, continuing until justice is served and thereafter. Bear our elected President over the conflagration of ill intentions, for the sake of We the People.

Be with all believers in our nation who can witness, testify and teach Your ways to those around them, that love for our country can sprout up again.

In Jesus’ name we pray,
