To: ebb tide

So many things I thought I’d never see. I never thought I’d see a time where hearing something like the Vatican going broke makes me smile. My mother was a Catholic.

not a practicing Catholic but I want to be.....the Vatican going broke simply means they'll close and sell many churches without a thought....

its not "one for all"...its "all for one"...the Vatican takes...the people give....

The Vatican was always on a slow death. Maybe its best days are far behind it. This pope is an idiot.

My problem here is the drop off in museum attendance. The best foreign trip I ever took was to Rome in 1999. The Vatican and it’s museums were the highlight. The prices were reasonable and The hospitality was superb. Since I’m a slipped Protestant, that’s a high compliment. Otherwise, seeing the Church under the present anti-Catholic, anti-Christian,communist false Pope fall on hard times gives me no troubles.
