I like Stanley and Rogers, but they are more “traditional” and speak more in a language people who grew up in the church understand....thus less useful to someone to “learn” about solid teachers.....
1. Jeremiah has endorsed the prosperity teachers and has lost my confidence, and this after years of liking what I heard from him.
2. Swindoll uses versions of what I call "un-Holy Bibles" in that he uses and endorses versions like "The Message" and The Living Bible. I can't listen to anyone who doesn't preach from, or ridicules, the Authorized Version, the King James.
3. Billy Graham was a sell-out to missionary churches world-wide. He did more to hurt the Gospel than he ever did to help it.
Mass and the Sacraments.

Wommack is the best of the Charismatics. He has not fallen into the 3 or 4 bad teachings most Charismatics fall for. BTW, not just picking on Charismatics here. The opposite of Charismatics are the Reformed Hyper Calvinists. They have fallen into bad beliefs also - without the excuse of relying too much on emotions and feelings, which is what gets Charismatics in trouble.....
Note my handle (Berean). Prove all things....
Amen.
And some of those don’t have the truth of Christ.
Discipleship Tape Ministries, Russell Kelfer (now deceased) have good sermons that he preached before his death.
Ravi Zacharias (not really a preacher)

I recall listening to OFRH Sundays while we were having breakfast. I recall the men’s quartet as being outstanding, and I think Mom still has some of their records.
Are you familiar with Mark 9:38-41? What would Jesus say about appearing on a stage with another teacher (who may be in error in some ways) but does profess a belief in the Son? We should CORRECT their false doctrines like Paul did in many letters. To correct someone you have to have a relationship with them. (This is a biblical teaching - strangers do not chastise other people’s children).
The word of God does not confine itself to your copy of the KJV...btw, do you read the original, unchanged 1611 version? I doubt it. So you are reading an unholy version? If not, which version is Holy? If an unbeliever picks up a bible (whatever version) and the Spirit does not work in him, he won’t find the truth anyway. An unbeliever can come to Christ without a bible - but it is a blessing of God! The very stones will cry out and nature testifies to the Glory of God.
As to Billy Graham, what do you do with the believers who came to Christ because of his Efforts? Again, reference Mark 9:3.... Do not put your faith in men (preachers), but in God. If you put it in men, you will be disappointed.
I, for one, thank God for teachers who I may not agree with on every point but they are holding back the judgement of God from this earth, while they (and others) toil to spread the Word, and when the harvest is full, Christ will come.
2 questions for you
(1) what is the truth of Christ?
(2) which ones do you say don’t have it?
I agree about John MacArthur - I myself am NOT a Calvinist. I differ with him on this point. But on other matters he is good. Also, I do not agree with some of his last days timing.
“Stanley Jr though is not”
Andy is a hot mess, isn’t he? My nephew attends that church, sad to say.
I went to my great-niece’s baptismal service (called “Baptism Bash!) at his church. It was a travesty with horns, confetti, screaming, and noise-makers. The decibel level of the “band” was dangerous, and my sister and I have to leave because it was so disgusting and loud. I recall when baptismal services were solemn and dignified.
“Franklin Graham is if anything more conservative than his father”
Franklin IS more conservative than his father. His autobiography is one of the best books I’ve read, “Rebel With A Cause”. I picked it up for $1 at a thrift store before a flight ‘cause I needed something — anything — to read. So glad I did.
His father was a great evangelist, but probably not the best father, according to the book.
Absolutely! And he doesn’t beg for money!
Adrian Rogers (deceased) was one of the best preachers. His preaching can be found on YouTube.
