When I was 7, my Aunt Mary took me to see the movie “The Story of Ruth”, which was (VERY) loosely based on this wonderful Book of the Bible. I fell in love with the story and it was one of the first OT books I ever read.
Looking back, and reading up on the movie on the Internet, I found out it wasn’t that great a movie, but it sure made a deep impression on me!
And wasn’t it the very next year in which you gave yourself to the Lord?
