The words of Christ are nonsense?

Why let the heretic Bergoglio come between you and the Eucharist?

I am sure she has all kinds of creative notions about how other people should raise their children, none of which are any of her business.

I have read other places about her problems with the Catholic Church, not on minor issues either, but on fundamental teachings and practices. Why doesn’t she just leave? No, she stays and expects the church to change to suit her. That’s hubris in spades.

When the Irish call the snakes back home, and
show St. Pat the door,
and “you get out you Naz’reth Babe,
don’t show your face no more”;
then the ghost of Cromwell laughs from hell,
“I couldn’t kill you, but just as well,
you’ll do the job quite well yourselves,
and soon be joining me here”.

I wonder what does she has to say about St. John the Baptist's baptism of Jesus?

Who WOULDN'T want to be baptized into the Lord's family?

.

.

Satan's followers wouldn't want it.

She ought to make herself the pope of her own version of faith.
Aren't you GLAD that she's not related to you, an in-law or a neighbor?!

I think she is already there, and yes, it is a blessing not to have someone like her close to me.

YES! Exactly. This is like in the Gospel of John after the Bread of Life discourse - “Lord to Whom shall we go?”

What a silly article....babies grow up and decide for themselves what they will or not believe and it doesn't matter what church or faith they were raised in.

In catholicism that’s not exactly true. After someone is baptized catholic they are judged as catholic- by God, at death.

Actually, without the Eucharist and several other grace-filled sacraments, etc...it is not such a great thing. Never depart from the ARC...the Church. God will grant you great graces for remaining and praying. There are many good and holy priests and many faithful laity to join together with. The rewards will be amazing! :-)

PS I once abandoned the Church as well...but Jesus pursued me in His great love and that changed me on the inside so that I could build up His Church from within. Many others have had the same experience. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into HIS Divine Will. You will never regret it.

That’s more than a stretch...nobody is saved by the ritual of Baptism in any church....Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and His finished work. Judgement for ur sins was nailed to the cross...Baptism is the outward evidence of an inner Salvation work already done.

I did not say saved. I said judged.

Judgement was satisfied in the eyes of God at Calvary.

That’s your belief, not ours. Not sure why you feel it’s relevant to the topic of the article, which didn’t pick any sort of fight with Protestants.

Article states...”Her talk – entitled ‘Baptismal obligations”.....so indeed my post was on Baptism and certainly not off topic.
