Walmart Announces It Will Cover the Cost of an Abortion and Pay for Staff to Travel to Obtain One

The largest private employer in the U.S. is now covering procedure and travel expenses for abortions up until “fetal viability,” which would include the great majority of sought-after abortions.

(LifeSiteNews) – Walmart told its employees on Friday that it will now cover the cost of abortion and related travel expenses in cases up until the point of “fetal viability.”

The health care plans of the largest private employer in the U.S. will now pay for abortion “when there is a health risk to the mother, rape or incest, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage or lack of fetal viability,” according to an internal memo, as reported by CNBC.

The company will also pay the cost of travel for an abortion if an employee or their family member who is insured through Walmart cannot legally obtain one within 100 miles of their residence.

While the point of fetal viability is not clear-cut, and has shifted down in recent years due to technological advances, medical consensus now sets it at 23-24 weeks. The great majority of abortions are performed well before the period of viability, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

We will pay for you to kill your progeny so you can come back to work for $12/hour.

Sad and strange. Somebody on the Board of Directors is pushing this agenda, and others are too intimidated or ignorant to raise an objection.

Why does Walmart wish to be linked to a movement supporting abortions for it’s own sake? They shouldn’t even be this deeply into it. This is a private concern.

This is a financial determination. It’s much cheaper to kill off what would otherwise become a costly additional ongoing expense for the next 26 years.

Its cheaper to have a worker kill their baby instead of paying for the mother’s leave.
Liberals support this oddly enough.

Are they going to give the employees who carry their baby to term an equal compensation?

#4: "Sam Walton is rolling over in his grave. This would not be his wish."

No, this would not have his blessing. It's like Chick-fil-A pandering to the homosexuals, and denigrating the Salvation Army. It's like Target pandering to child molesters and transvestites. What's the upside to pandering to baby killers? Does Walmart think they are going to attract city libs to go shopping at Walmart?

Recently was forced to go into a super Walmart made in China smelly box. The whole place was a mess, so poorly stocked — the WORST cheap crappy stuff — the clothes are just ultra sad, so poorly made and the prices were actually on the higher end for a lot of items.

It would be a blessing if this wicked behemoth just folded — would return business to our small towns and rejuvenate America again.

Pray Walmart is aborted from America!!

I hope they reap a lot less customers.

If they are in such support of abortion, #abortwalmart

The first part sounded OK to me, but the SECOND part is, “Hey, if you can’t kill your baby nearby, we’ll help you!”

Shop Woke-Mart: it’s cheaper, and Soros, Blackrock, Vanguard and State Street will thank you!

Sam Walton is rolling over in his grave.“

Just like FNC, the kids take over and take the company woke. Walmart tossed the My Pillow line out a couple of months ago despite good sales.

I never go to Chick-fil-A again since their CEO went all stupid.

My pastor friend says they still are pro-life though. Go figure.
