Sadly, many people will look at the Falwells, the Bakkers, the Jimmy Swaggarts, etc. and say to themselves, “if that’s how Christians behave, I want no part of that faith.”
They were in it for cash all along, nothing Christian about them
And some would say, I’ve seen the same behavior in a smaller scale and make the connection.

Even we Christians battle against the world, flesh and the devil. On this side of paradise, everyone struggles with sin.
The guys like Bakker, Swaggart and the like are intentionally deceiving people in an effort to separate the from their $$$.
