Of course it is I have been in the rooms with drunk and crazy folks all issues from money to sex, drugs and booze.
The LDS Church has its issues just like all religious denominations, education, law enforcement and the military.
I have seen them all including ‘recovering politicians’ like myself.
Avoid any pride or vanity in this matter humility inventory of one’s own past all aspects even sexual ones are in order for you, me and all others.
Doesn’t the Good Book say:
“ALL HAVE SINNED”
“”” including ‘recovering politicians’ like myself.”””
What level of politician were you?
“The LDS Church has its issues just like all religious denominations, education, law enforcement and the military... Doesn’t the Good Book say: ‘ALL HAVE SINNED’”
The Mormon Church was founded by a sexual deviant/predator. It’s ALWAYS had this problem.
The “good book” also says that sin will be punished:
Revelation 22:12 NKJV
And behold, I [Jesus] am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
Romans 2:2-11 NKJV
But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God.
“I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth,
and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts,
than by any other book.”
-- Joseph Smith (History of the Church, 4:461)
“The most correct of any book on earth” was a bold statement to make in Joseph Smith’s day,
let alone in our day of sophisticated publication.
The statement is still applicable, for the Lord has never rescinded it nor cast doubt upon it.
