They are doing this where nativities can be displayed, betting that people would rather demand the removam of all references to religion, even their own, Christ, than put up with a fake disco ball sheep head in honor of Satan. Let the atheists/Satan worshippers look vile, stupid and petty in stark contrast to love. The social libertarians are hoping to trick the majority into self-censoring and removal of Christian items in a way that differs from the maoists’ violently pulling down statues and monuments. It is different methods and motives but the same end. But truth will win out on its own whether or not disco goat is bleating for attention; truth does not need censorship to hide its nature or to hide its enemies, only evil does.
Idolatry is anything you love more than God. It doesn’t have to be stereotypical red devils or goat heads, it can be money, government, food, booze, drugs, sloth, celebrities, or often, one’s self. So manmade idols have always been present in the halls of power, before there was ever a nativity scene or cross on display. They pretend they are making things fair (what is good for the goose is good for the gander) but in reality all they are doing is adding yet another idol besides the money and power already there.
