Robert Royal and Fr. Gerald Murray discuss a new document — Fiducia supplicans — that came out today from the Dicastery on the Doctrine of the Faith, and approved by Pope Francis, that seeks to “broaden” and “enrich” the concept of “blessing” in the Church. This innovation, its seems, will even permit blessings for “same-sex couples” — just as long as they don’t give the impression of being the equivalent of traditional marriage.

I’m not sure if he’s personally a homosexual, but he’s become the world’s most prominent cheerleader of homosexuality. Why?
I think the most cynical explanation is that Bergoglio figured out long ago that there’d be no surer way to curry the favor of the elite secular media than by positioning himself as an LGBT ally. They’ve given him a free pass on all measures of corruption and failures because he’s on “Team Queer.” But whether he knows it or not, he’s doing Satan’s bidding in promoting sodomy in an effort to destroy souls and the Church.
No, he’s queer. And I don’t think he’s just any queer, he’s into little boys.
The old saying ‘he complains too much’ can also be spoken as ‘he doesn’t complain enough’.
Bergoglio never affirmatively condemns child molesters. To the contrary, he openly protects them.

Nah - the Catholics, who condemn Jews for not getting with Christ, are also living in the Old testament and too many their priests are no different than the Pharisees - all the pomp and riches and pious displays with none of the sincerity. Many will find some way to keep supporting their church no matter how far down the tubes it goes.
I say this as a long-lapsed Catholic who discovered Jesus in a Bible based non-denominational church after being taught the drivel of the canons and other propaganda
The document uses oily, greasy language to pretend not to insinuate what it implies.

Is this blessing the individual or the union of the two?
It is an individual blessing, despite all the headlines that lead you to believe otherwise.
It is no different than someone approaching during communion that isn’t able to receive. There is no discussion or questions asked if they ask to receive a blessing.
Reading the actual document is sort of important, of course news outlets don’t let that stand in their way.
Satan thrives in ambiguity. So does pope Francis. Homosexuality is considered intrinsically disordered and a sin. One cannot bless sin. With this we can bless the homo sex in the capitol!

I did. It's a sleazy attempt to (metaphorically) get the camel's nose into the tent. Its author is a heretic, at best.
