“Satan is deliberately using this to marginalize God’s Word.”

This has been going on via incrementalism at least since the ‘60s (when I started paying attention). Christianity has been the frog in the kettle as inroads have been made toward modernism. Women preachers. Contemporary “Christian” music. Churches allowing divorcees in key roles. (Down the road from us is a Baptist church whose minister is divorced and remarried, even though his first wife is still living. That’s been taboo since forever in Baptist churches.)

[incrementalism]

Exactly.

It’s how the Marxists work. It’s why every Democrat says “Democracy” instead of “Constitutional Republic”. It’s to subtly brainwash the masses.

It’s why we can not and will not remain silent.

It all started with the Enemy of man’s souls saying “Yeah, hath God not said....?”

I thought there was one exception?

I most emphatically agree with you as to contemporary "Christian" music. My biggest pet peeve about the contemporary worship scene is that the electric guitar and drums have driven organs and choirs out of most churches. Hymn-writing has become a lost art, the last great hymn having been composed in 1953.

I disagree with John MacArthur on theology--he's a Calivinist and I'm a Wesleyan--but when I attended one of his worship services, it included traditional music.
