Your taking a leap a la FR anti-Catholic standard
Here’s what I mean take it or leave it
The Vatican always says, and means it, that one is not obligated to believe the apparitions of the Blessed Mother. The Blessed Mother never says one has to believe an apparition
Vatican approved means after complete investigation after the apparition has ceased that it was the Blessed Mother that appeared and not an imposter. Not a believable supernatural apparition.
(Show me any Marian apparition where the Vatican overruled the local bishop, or even one where any Vatican statement added credence that the faithful were looking for.)
You're bearing false witness. You're the one who came charging on here questioning the Our Lady of Good Help apparitions by claiming they're not "vatican-approved".
The Blessed Mother never says one has to believe an apparition
Our Lady has never said one does not have to believe in Her apparitions. Why do you think She revealed the souls in Hell to the Fatima children? Why do you think the sun danced? It's the Church who says one does not have to believe in any of Her apparitions. Our Lady as never said that.
See the linked article in post #18 to see how that is done. Hopefully you'll learn something.
Sorry, ebb tide, I meant the above to go to stanne!
From ebb time’s article: **Determining the veracity of an apparition falls to the local bishop,** and the Vatican’s doctrinal congregation established the norms to guide the process.
