Cities and towns throughout Ireland now host parades, sporting events, parades, concerts, fireworks and theater productions on St. Patrick’s Day.Also, parades. Don't forget parades.

There, the Lord opened up my understanding to my unbelief so that however late, I might become conscious of my failings and then remembering my need, I might turn with all my heart to the Lord my God. For it was he who looked after me before I knew him. Indeed, as a father consoles his son, so he protected me.I'm not a Catholic but I have accepted Christ as my Savior. St. Patrick's message just resonated with this old fool.

Probably not much liked by herpetologists either.
I’m not Irish or Catholic. Why would I celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?

St. Patrick was a Seventh day Sabbath keeper. Christians who honor and keep the Seventh day Sabbath, which is the Bible Lord’s day, Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath, God calls the 7th day Sabbath MY HOLY DAY....and those Christians who still keep it as a blessed day, a day “made for man” just as Jesus said it was......no twisting and turning of scripture......well, they usually aren’t liked much. But that’s expected I guess.

Because St. Patrick converted many pagans to Christianity, and explained how the Holy Trinity was One God in three Persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He used the shamrock to illustrate it.
The explanation is worth celebrating.

Note that the homosexualist, Fr. James Martin, S.J., was invited to "catholic" Joe Biden's Whitehouse for St. Patrick's Day

Bergoglio’s U.S. hachetman (e.g Bishop Joseph Strickland’s dismissal), Christophe Pierre, was also invited to Biden’s whitehouse.

Your evidence that St Patrick was a “seventh-day Sabbath keeper” is exactly what...?
