Way back in the 80’s when I was in an LCA church, my pastor actually suggested that. It’s nothing new in more liberal churches. I don’t know why some pastors have so much trouble believing in miracles.
Martin Luther is looking down from Heaven wondering what these people have faith in, surely not Christ.
Because they are sent to a seminary where any inclination toward actual belief in God is mocked right out of them.
The vast majority of the professors do not believe. It transmits to the students.
Not a new thing. Been going on for well over a century and a half.

Because they don’t believe Jesus is Divine. Just a wise man. Basically what Muslims think.
