Victor Davis Hanson, a historian and professor emeritus of California State University, Fresno, pushed back on criticism of Israel on the American Right, adding that recent comments by right-wing pundits like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens do not represent the conservative movement or the American Religious Right.
Hanson, who has frequently appeared as a guest on Carlson’s now-cancelled Fox News show, “Tucker Carlson Tonight”, and his current, independently-produced “Tucker Carlson Uncensored,” spoke with Megyn Kelly on Wednesday regarding the rise in anti-Israel rhetoric on the American Right.

“Most of the evangelical community I know is still very pro-Israel,” Hanson said.
“I think what we’re talking about is the libertarian, right intellectual movement. I know that Tucker Carlson is voicing things, Candace Owens has, the CATO Institute has been very vocal.”
“But I don’t think it represents most Christians, much less most Americans. But I don’t know quite what their argument is because I’ve seen so many of them.”
“It doesn’t take a lot of brains to say ‘there’s 500 million people in the Middle East and there’s 12 million that live in a democratic government.’ And that is the only democratic constitutional system there.”

I am neither ‘supersessionalist’ nor ‘liberal’, so I side with Israel. God’s particular covenant to Abraham, was NOT conditional, as far as I understand, so I take Gen 12:3-4 to remain in force. If Israel oversteps, God will chastise, it is not up to Believers to chastise!
Personally, I wish Israel did not have to resort to the destruction of Gaza but Hamass had MANY opportunities to resolve the issue by returning the hostages ALIVE, and SURRENDERING. They chose not to, so unfortunately, the non-Hamass Palis are suffering the consequences.
I do believe that we are witnessing the start of the war described in Ezekiel 38-39. IMO, even if Netanyahu did not pursue the destruction of Hamass, Iran, through the Houthis and Hezbollah, would bring on WW3 (Ezekiel 38-39), anyway. God’s timetable cannot be stopped.

There is some truth in what you say. Whether it’s Jew fatigue or flat out antisemitism, the tide of opinion is and will continue to turn against Israel and the Jews. It’s even in evangelical churches - not all thankfully.
I stand with Israel and the Jewish people because God through the Bible and personal conviction tells me to. In the end, both true Christians and Jews will be targeted by a world system that hates God and anyone who they think represents him. It’s a Satanic hatred. Both a world government and Satan can’t abide a rival.
Throughout the book of Ezekiel (and other scripture) God states he will bring those Jews scattered throughout the world back to Israel. One way he does that is through persecution - so I expect it to increase because all Jews are not back as yet. The prophetic scriptures tell that Israel will stand alone against the nations toward the end of the age - all will forsake her. Zechariah 12:3 speaks about God making Jerusalem a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone for all the people “…though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”
Bad days are ahead for Israel (and all nations).
That is Rabinical Judaism. Messianic Judaism follows YESHUA. Rabinical Judaism is the Judaism of man. Messianic Judaism is growing here and Israel.
I have followed the Israeli Palestinian conflict closely since Israel gave up Gaza to the Palestinians. Fact is the Palestinians continuously voted in Hamas, they got the “ government “ they choosed, and the vast majority support Hamas.
There are consequences for voting in year after year an Islamic terrorist organization, as we are witnessing. The other Palestinians in the West Bank choosed to vote in Fatah, and are able to co-exist with the Israelis.
Hamas must be eradicated.
