The true mark of a shyster is to take advantage of every opportunity to milk a person for money, and especially when emotions and sympathy run high. Christmas is one of those times. I give you exhibit A, Al Gore’s “Climate Reality Project”. I got this in my inbox this morning.Of course, when you click on that donate button, Al doubles down:Yes, send money to Al Gore to “end the climate crisis”. Yeah, that’s the ticket. He has quite a payroll to support, just look at all the employees here Anybody stupid enough to fall for this, especially on...

NEW YORK –– Attorney General Janet Reno has decided not to name a special prosecutor to investigate the 1996 fund-raising activities of Vice President Al Gore, The New York Times reported Wednesday. Reno has rejected the recommendation of the head of the Justice Department's campaign finance unit, Robert J. Conrad Jr., which marks the third time that Reno has rejected such a recommendation to investigate Gore, the newspaper said. The Times reported that Conrad was the only prosecutor in the department who thought there would be a need for an independent counsel. The vice president has repeatedly maintained that he...

**SNIP** The Oscar buzz comes despite pushback from skeptics, led by University of Alabama in Huntsville climatologist Roy Spencer, a former NASA scientist who accused Mr. Gore of attributing natural phenomena to human-caused climate change. In September, Mr. Spencer published an 84-page e-book, “An Inconvenient Deception,” which blasted the film as “bursting with bad science, bad policy, and some outright falsehoods.” “An Inconvenient Truth” was similarly rebuked by skeptics — Danish academic Bjorn Lomborg challenged it in a book and film called “Cool It”—but the movie earned $24 million at the box office, making it the 11th-highest grossing documentary of...

His book and movie tankedFormer Vice President Al Gore is preparing to host another 24-hour-long broadcast to to sound the alarm on manmade global warming, capping off a disappointing year for the world’s most famous climate activist.Gore’s environmental group will put on “24 Hours of Reality” broadcast in early December, which will feature celebrity guest appearances, including actress Helen Hunt, musical performances and segments on what different parts of the world are doing about global warming. As in past years, the Climate Reality Project, Gore’s activist group, claims millions will tune in to the broadcast, which will be hosted...

Former Vice President Al Gore spoke about the dangers of man-made climate change at the Rice University Tudor Fieldhouse on Monday evening. Gore organized his talk around three big questions: whether society must change climate practices, whether it has the ability, and whether it has has the will. Before the talk got underway, Gore found an opportunity to connect with his Houston audience through his role on the executive board of the Doerr Institute for New Leaders. “I guess I’m kind of a Rice Owl now,” Gore said. Gore began the speech with statistics arguing that the world is trending...

Lots of hubbub about former Vice President Al Gore running for president in 2020, from the overflow crowd at Wednesday night's D.C. screening of his new documentary, "An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power" (select theaters July 28; nationwide Aug. 4; from Paramount Pictures and Participant Media). #BeInconvenient Being there, from Axios energy correspondent Amy Harder:

Climate change is impacting life in Pennsylvania, and its effects will become increasingly obvious as the century progresses, former vice president Al Gore told a room of 1,300 people at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Gore tucked state-specific stats into a two-hour presentation peppered with images of melting roads, collapsing glaciers, flooded cities and other dramatic weather events scientists have linked to climate change. The presentation was part of a Climate Reality Leadership Corps meeting, the 36th in a series in which Gore trains attendees to advocate for changes that could help slow global warming....

Former Vice President Al Gore has been hit by new allegations of sexual assault. This time, it's two more massage therapists bringing the charges. *** The new allegations are said to have taken place at two hotels - one in Beverly Hills in 2007, when Gore was in Hollywood for the Oscars, the other in Tokyo in 2008. *** Molly Hagerty, the Portland victim, has also recently piped up with some new evidence: a pair of stained black pants and the remains of some candy supposedly gobbled by Gore.

After more than two decades of study I am convinced that life here on Earth has been getting better and better for the billions of we people who make this little blue marble our beloved home. The “tons and tons of carbon we are spewing into the atmosphere every day” as Al Gore puts it are actually a good thing. In his rants that the Earth will become uninhabitable former Vice President Gore is referring the carbon dioxide gas being released into the atmosphere as we power our civilization with fossil fuels. However, it turns out that as the...

Americans are becoming only too aware of the financial tricks and deceit in which some of the nation's largest and most respected corporations engaged during the Clinton administration to pump up stock prices with fraudulently inflated profits. When the huge bubble no longer could be sustained the men and women at the top would bail out of their stock and pocket millions, leaving pensioners and other investors holding an empty bag. To market insiders these are known as "pump and dumps." While federal investigators are looking into the corporate malfeasance at Enron, WorldCom, Qwest Communications, AOL Time Warner and...

Climate Change. Officials from the former Obama White House are starting to speak out against the corrupt administration now that it is safe to come forward. It’s about time! The most recent official to come forward is Steven Koonin, the former Undersecretary of the Department of Energy. He is accusing President Obama of fabricating scientific evidence proving “climate change”. “What you saw coming out of the press releases about climate data, climate analysis, was, I’d say, misleading, sometimes just wrong,” Koonin told the Wall Street Journal. According to Koonin, multiple departments responsible for environmental science either misrepresented data or completely...

A prominent supporter of President Barack Obama and co-founder of the Human Rights Campaign was arrested last week on charges of sodomy and sexual abuse related to what authorities said was an encounter with a juvenile male. Terrence Bean, 66, a major Democratic donor and a celebrated gay-rights activist, was indicted on two felony charges of sodomy and a misdemeanor count of sexual abuse by a grand jury and arrested in Oregon Wednesday, according to a statement from the Portland Police Bureau. Bean was released later that day on bail, pending a court hearing. Kiah Lawson, a 25-year-old identified by...

In this brand-new slideshow (premiering on TED.com), Al Gore presents evidence that the pace of climate change may be even worse than scientists recently predicted. He challenges us to act.

Irma has reached the Florida Keys. Now might be the time to worry. It is definitely time to go to your safe space. And pray. And as you do, ponder the great power that diversity has wrought – only in America’s National Weather Service could you find a hurricane named Jose.Al Gore will get credit for having predicted it, but the resulting government shutdown will be blamed on Donald Trump.Posted from: MOTUS A.D.

When Al Gore’s climate-change documentary An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power opened to less than $1 million at the box office in early August—coming in 16th place in its first weekend of wide release—the right-leaning media was quick to dismiss it as a “bomb.” The sequel’s takings, the likes of Fox News noted, were far below its Academy Award–winning predecessor, An Inconvenient Truth, released in 2006.But to dwell on An Inconvenient Sequel ’s box office receipts is to the miss the point. The film’s message—a warning wrapped in the guise of a blockbuster movie experience—is no more critical than it is...

Solar farms are cropping up in Will County As harvest season approaches, some Will County farmers may already be considering alternatives to the future of their corn and soybean fields. They are learning that the sun they now rely on to produce vegetables, could be harnessed into a new cash crop. Empowered by Illinois' new Future Energy Jobs Act, solar companies have approached area farmers in recent weeks about converting a portion of their property into solar farms. Cypress Creek Renewables, which currently operates solar farms in eight states, has an agreement with a landowner in Crete Township to convert...

I was surprised to discover that Al Gore's new movie begins with words from me! While icebergs melt dramatically, Gore plays a clip of me saying, "'An Inconvenient Truth' won him an Oscar, yet much of the movie is nonsense. 'Sea levels may rise 20 feet' -- absurd." He used this comment from one of my TV shows. The "20 feet" claim is absurd -- one of many hyped claims in his movie. His second film, "An Inconvenient Sequel," shows lower Manhattan underwater while Gore intones: "This is global warming!" My goodness! Stossel doubts Al Gore's claim, but pictures don't...

Climate alarmist Al Gore’s second film, An Inconvenient Sequel, failed to heat up the box-office, falling from 16th to 18th over the Aug. 11-13 weekend. It’s a dramatic fall from glory for the climate alarmist whose first film, An Inconvenient Truth, won several awards including an Oscar and grossed $24 million. An Inconvenient Sequel, meanwhile, grossed just under $2.3 million in the U.S. since its Aug. 4 release. The film’s poor performance was especially humorous because of Viacom used many platforms to promote the film and the liberal media heaped praise on Gore prior to its release. “You’re a movie...

In addition to the 47 volcanoes already known about currently “sleeping” under the Arctic ice, scientists have found more. They discovered 91 additional volcanoes in Antartica, now the largest volcanic region on earth. This is a big blow to those who think melting polar ice is the sole fault of humans. The project, by Edinburgh University researchers, has revealed almost 100 volcanoes. The highest discovered volcano is as tall as the Eiger, a popular peak to traverse in the Swiss Alps, which stands at almost 4,000 meters (over 13,000 ft) in Switzerland. Before this discovery, the densest concentration of volcanoes...

Meteorologist Joe Bastardi explains: “Al Gore was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize based on warnings of future events — the same future events that have not happened. The fact is that global temperatures from 2006-2007 while Gore was basking in the glory of his apocalypse-driven fame were warmer than they are now, and we are still falling off the Super El Niño peak. Additionally, much of the time in-between was lower than what it was in the run-up to ‘An Inconvenient Truth.'” Bastardi added: “Fact: Without monkeying around and ‘finding’ warming, temps have changed very little during 20 year AGW...
