A federal appeals court on Tuesday struck down a portion of federal law that makes it a crime to encourage illegal immigration, ruling that the statute violates the First Amendment. “Criminalizing expression like this threatens almost anyone willing to weigh in on the debate,” Judge A. A California lawmaker has pledged to re-introduce a bill that would allow adults who live in the state illegally to receive medical care paid for by the government. YUMA, Ariz. – Yuma Sector camera operators observed a group of six illegal aliens, including two small children, traversing over the border wall with assistance, near the San Luis Port of Entry early Monday morning. The children were dropped from the 18-foot wall, which was observed by a Yuma Sector camera operator. The group of six from Guatemala was a family unit, including three children: a 2-year-old, a 7-year- old, and a 10-year-old. All surrendered to U.S. Border Patrol agents who arrived on scene. Dozens of Central American migrants scaled the border fence between Mexico and the US on Sunday, only to be arrested by US Border Patrol guards. Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents arrested an MS-13 gang member who said he traveled through Mexico with the migrant caravan. Agents assigned to the Ajo Station apprehended an illegal alien on November 27 after he crossed the border from Mexico.
