The man drove at high speed across a pedestrian promenade at a seaside resort in northern Germany, before assaulting a police officer. The 29-year-old male, who reports in German media say suffered from “psychological issues,” drove at considerable speed across a pedestrian area on the beach promenade in the resort town of Scharbeutz on the Baltic Sea in northern Germany on Thursday morning.
