Roethlisberger threw for a career best 316 yards and threw four straight passes to set up Jerome Bettis' game winning 1 yard run with 4:57 left in the game, leading the Steelers to a 33-30 come from behind win over the New York Giants.

The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cincinnatti Bengals 19-14 on their way to an NFL leading 9-1 record. Ben Roethlisberger extended his unbeaten streak to 21 (includes his 13 game win streak in college).

Big Ben and other key parts of Parliament are set to be protected by an electric security fence in a bid to foil terrorists and protesters. Commons authorities have ordered officials to look at the feasibility of running a high-voltage fence at "weak spots" in defences. The fence would run along the bottom of Big Ben and into Parliament Square, a part of the Parliamentary estate that was breached by Greenpeace protesters this year. Intelligence chiefs fear terrorists could try to topple Big Ben onto the Houses of Parliament creating hundreds of casualties. A report by MI5 will today call for a raft of radical new security measures to protect Parliament - including a ring of steel around the Palace of Westminster. As part of the security measures, MI5 is reported to be planning to deploy agents to bases around the UK.
