Fox59 2:56 p.m. EDT, August 9, 2010 Bloomington, Ind. — The Monroe County Sheriff's Department is investigating a pitbull attack that left a 7-year-old boy with dozen of stitches to his face and several broken teeth. The attack happened in a backyard at the home on Woodbine Drive southwest of Bloomington Thursday afternoon. "They were having a birthday party and the boys were out there and it jumped up and bit him," said an unidentified man who answered only brief questions after answering a knock at his door.

Aaron Sewell said he saw some dogs while he was walking his own dog Friday. He thought they were on a leash when one came charging at him and his terrier.
