Gilder Guideposts: Cacophonous are the voices decrying the implosion of “the U.S. Innovation Ecosystem,” as the Harvard Business Review puts it. Do not hope, the voices warn, to see in our future anything like the miraculous progress of the last two centuries, or even the last 50 years. It’s done. Tighten your belts. Supporting the doomsters are dozens of academic studies arguing that “big research,” whether at our great corporations or our universities, yields increasingly diminishing returns. Making headlines recently was a Nature study concluding, “We find that papers and patents are increasingly less likely to break with the past...

People should pay close attention to Vivek Ramaswamy’s idea because he is willing to think outside of the box about how government should work, compared to the grotesque behemoth we now have in D.C. Most importantly, he thinks it’s possible for the president to fire most of the federal workforce. He’s not just talking about Schedule F political appointees. He wants to empty buildings full of ideologically corrupt agencies.

Speaking of Kennedy, no single American has felt the sting of the Times’ historic disdain for so-called conspiracy theorists more than JFK’s legendary press secretary, Pierre Salinger. Unlike Landis, Salinger made the mistake of exposing a conspiracy that was very much in play when he exposed it. I speak here of the case of TWA Flight 800. The 747 was en route from New York to Paris when it crashed off the coast of Long Island in July 1996, killing all 230 people on board.

A recent Zero Hedge article contains an interesting quote as to why the U.S. warhawks want the Ukraine war: Beltway liberal elites... still think Russia must be punished given they see Moscow as having brought the "bad orange man" to power in 2016. Sounds crazy, but that would explain what I have experienced on the ground (physically and linguistically) in Ukraine. Ukrainian Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS):

Ramaswamy’s sympathetic stance towards the vaccines is unsurprising given that his company, Roivant Sciences, teamed up with Pfizer last year to market RVT-3101, an inflammatory disease drug developed by Pfizer. However, while the 37-year-old did not appear to fundamentally contest forced vaccinations, mask mandates or lockdowns during the pandemic, he has since adopted a strong anti-mandate position. “[I’m] dead set against vaccine mandates and I think that that was one of the major learnings from the last pandemic,” Ramaswamy told political commentator Jack Posobiec last week assertively. Furthermore, despite backing the FDA-authorized COVID-19 injections, Ramaswamy now says he knew the...

Modernism is a reactionary culture, a fact that I demonstrated by pointing in detail to the works of a dozen leading Modernist figures including T.S. Eliot, Ezra Pound, James Joyce, W.B. Yeats, Pablo Picasso, and others. In all of these writers and artists, there was a similar rejection of all that is truly modern: a democratic capitalist society in which ordinary citizens seek freedom and opportunity for themselves and their families, including economic, religious, and political liberty.

The late, great Julian Simon spent decades battling intellectually against biologists and zoologists who were convinced that human population growth, if governments did not hold it in check with draconian measures, would spell doom for multitudes of humans.

“If we elect two more senators .... We’ll protect voting rights. We’ll pass election reform and make sure no one, no one, ever has the opportunity to steal an election again!” Biden exclaimed.

In 1932 and 1933, 7 Million (estimated) Ukrainians were massacred by genocidal famine ordered by the Bolshevik government. Many were Christians. Students do not learn about the Holodomor in middle school, high school, or even college. There aren’t dozens of major Hollywood films depicting the horrific events that took place.

In 1840, item seven of the Democrats' Party Platform read ... For six consecutive party platforms — from 1840 through 1860 — Democrats used their party platform to promote the institution of slavery.

I’m going to provide links to two video. I took each at face value to learn more about HCQ and vaccines. They are long videos, but well worth the time in my opinion. The first is by Dr. Gold. She is a controversial figure, like President Trump and anyone who has a MAGA hat or reads and posts at websites such as Freerepublic. The controversy is the problem, not Dr. Gold. Note that the AMA has rescinded their ban on HCQ. I take that as a tacit admission that Dr. Gold was right on HCQ and the AMA was wrong....

I heard that President Trump would address the nation tonight at 9PM. However I can find no confirmation. I will go to One America News at 9PM to see. If this is real, you should too. It may not be real, yet I suggest you check, just in case. I apologize in advance if I have passed on faulty information.

I’m addressing the general topic of censorship, specifically YouTube censorship. I’ve done a couple of tests today and it did not turn out as expected. Prager says many of his videos are not shown on YouTube. But I checked two that he said were not available, and they are available. Gateway Pundit says that the opening statement of Trump’s lawyer, Jesse Binnall, before the US Senate has been removed by YouTube. However I can find it on YouTube. Maybe conservatives have been too quick to criticize before getting the facts. Maybe YouTube is suddenly cleaning up it’s act because we...

So why did the FDA restrict the use of HCQ to hospitalized patients and those participating in clinical trials, and why does it continue to embargo the 150 million doses in the SNS? The AAPS’s complaint alleges that “through a biased, unlawful process,” FDA officials from “prior administrations” and “contrary to the wishes of President Donald Trump” arbitrarily limited the use of HCQ from the SNS. The complaint specifically references, among others, Rick Bright, the director of the Biomedical Advanced Research & Development Authority (BARDA).

FDA stalls pullback of hydroxychloroquine warning; reaction from Dr. Simone Gold, board-certified emergency physician working on the front lines during the pandemic, and Dr. Richard Urso, an ophthalmologist practicing in Houston, Texas.

The dashboard shows 7,260 deaths for New York on June 9th. A similar spike appeared a few days ago, then disappeared. US deaths for the same day were 874. https://www.bing.com/search?q=Coronavirus+trends&FORM=covwpt&tf=U2VydmljZT1HZW5lcmljQW5zd2VycyBTY2VuYXJpbz1Db3JvbmFWaXJ1c01MIFBvc2l0aW9uPVRPUCBSYW5raW5nRGF0YT1UcnVlIEZvcmNlUGxhY2U9VHJ1ZSBQYWlycz1pbnRlbnQ6Q2hlY2tDb3JvbmFUcmVuZDthYm92ZW5ld3M6dHJ1ZTsgfA%3d%3d&hs=%2f0h4KuPUJgsBd6zxhPEezwzzVVKjG6IziCuETZq%2fRFA%3d If these links do not work, please search for "covid-19 dashboard" New Jersey is also showing wonkey data, more than 950 deaths each for July 2nd and 3rd. US deaths for those days were below 700.

Gold: I decided to speak out for one very specific reason. That was I was actually presented with a definite positive COVID patient and I prescribed hydroxychloroquine because I was very up on the literature on this and I got severely reprimanded for it. I also had received from the state board threatening all doctors, I was just one with a potential investigation into me for unprofessional conduct if I was to prescribe hydroxychloroquine. This was so shocking to me and had never happened where the government told a physician if they had the right or not to prescribe an...

Today the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons filed its motion for a preliminary injunction to compel release to the public of hydroxychloroquine by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), in AAPS v. HHS, No. 1:20-cv-00493-RJJ-SJB (W.D. Mich.). Nearly 100 million doses of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) were donated to these agencies, and yet they have not released virtually any of it to the public.

"When used for COVID-19, successful worldwide treatment protocols recommend low dose, short duration (5-7 days) hydroxychloroquine early in the illness to help reduce severity and rate of spread, and reduce hospitalizations. Why the firestorm against HCQ to be used for 5-7 days in COVID-19, when it is used for decades at higher doses in Lupus and RA? It simply makes no medical sense."

This statistic is a political football. Thought I'd get an update.
