This is Blackrock telling their bought and paid for congresscritters what they expect to be in the FY25 Biden budget so Mike Johnson will know what he needs to rubber stamp.

U.S. universities with lefty presidents better order some more paint remover and library furniture ASAP. Better get a glass contractor on speed dial too.
Not one mention of margin of error. Pretty clear writer has no understanding of what the term means. Without such an understanding, all analysis is about as valid as using a yardstick as a micrometer.
Large scale immigration in the late 19th and early 20th Century provided a new crop of students uneducated in the traditions of America’s founding - and many of their parents were Marxists. A target rich environment.
The writer is wrong - the abolitionists in the antebellum period were the first - constantly and vociferously berating the founding and founders.
Let’s make it mandatory for “journalists” who push global warming nonsense stories to calculate and post their carbon footprint from “writing” their story. Fuel to get to work, electricity to run their computer, lights in their office, etc.
In this case, which is greater, wearing jeans or spreading lies?
Now this assumes they can calculate anything beyond counting on their fingers and toes.
As usual, dumbassery from GP. Go hunt up Julie Kelly’s commentary on this subject. She actually knows what she is doing. In short: this is a proposed order, so cannot be appealed. Now go back to sleep until GP rings the bell again.
On April 1, 1972 (a Saturday), the weekend news crew at WJXT in Jacksonville did a half hour of April Fools jokes presented as a newscast. (apparently without management approval).
Leading off, a reporter, wearing a suit with his pants legs rolled up, stood in the surf at Jax Beach and said wreckage from one of Christopher Columbus’ ships had washed up on the shore.
Another story said a big company had plans to relocate to Jax. They were so large it would require tearing down the entire downtown to make room for their new facility.
I don’t remember any fake sports stories, but the biggest viewer response was to the weatherman predicting a foot of snow (most recent snow had been 1” in 1958). Management later apologized.
All very believable, presented seriously, no ‘gotcha’ at end of broadcast, just a ‘good evening.’ Wish it was preserved on video.
Menton mostly left out the politics. As we saw in the COVID response, even here on FR, fearmongering works and, once fear gets a foothold, even normally rational people resist abandoning their discredited positions. So, it’s not all about grant chasing. It’s a weakness in human nature.
