The shooter had thousands of dollars worth of weapons, an expensive Phone, nkew how to shoot (per the grandpa), etc. The school had teachers and kids from families directly or indirectly related to the border patrol. Ever since the second to last site crash/downtime, freerepublic pages have exhibited very long load times, probably 70% of the time. Some have already mentioned this issue in other threads. I did a couple of simple checks on my browser and it appears that external content, e.g. images or animated GIFs exacerbate the problem, but tonight, I am seeing the issue on the main index page, which doesn't load any external content at all. I am seeing load times on the main page exceed 60 seconds. On pages that have images, load times are 80-120 seconds plus. Anyone else seeing...

My mother is preparing to sell the home that she and my late father have lived in for more than thirty years. I've been hearing a commercial on the radio that encourages kids to visit a government (.gov) website that seems to promote the values contained in the movie Where the Wild Things Are. So, what exactly is a Libertarian? I have a friend who calls himself a Libertarian. I've known him for about a year. We both have similar interests, share the same political views (generally), and have respect for a benevolent and gracious higher power.
