The end of our constitutional republic. Crappy way for four years of improving the country to end. My best hope is that the destruction can be ameliorated (by, say, Republican control of the Senate and possible control of the House after two years) so that the next presidential election can still matter (as in having a good chance of being conducted honestly). I do think that, if an election is held and if all legal votes and only legal votes are counted, enough people will have been awakened to pull us back from destruction.
Rintintin - “Hey, who are we to believe, Chris Cuomo saying, The president knows that hydroxychloroquine is not supported by science or a major medical systems large study?”
I think you’ve got to go with Cuomo. As far as I can tell he is rarely dead wrong in his pronouncements more than 10 or 15 times a day.

I remember the President saying he had heard good things and was hopeful about its effectiveness, but I must have been asleep for the many months he was heavily promoting it.

That would be my first guess except denying a well demonstrated successful treatment from widespread use seems so evil I can’t believe even the worst of our leaders would stoop that low. Well, maybe Nancy Pelosi :-).

Soooo ... as I type this it is 4/21/2020. The experimental treatment of 1000 (or was it 1500?) New Yorkers with hydroxychloroquine started nearly a month ago, but I have heard zilch regarding test results. I think that is bizarre. Has anybody heard anything meaningful? I’d really appreciate news if anybody has heard something. Thanks!
We COULD fix Oroville dam and others that are in bad shape, but at this time we NEED the money to build Jerry Brown’s “high speed” rail line that will sooner or later run from somewhere you never heard of to somewhere else you never heard of. Trust me, this not especially speedy “high speed” rail will be so amazingly fantastic that, despite its non-existent ridership, everyone will soon forget about any huge disasters that occur because a few unmaintained dams crumble when they get full.
Wow! That is one limp report. Those “technical indicators” mentioned early in the report might reveal something about the source of the horrifying “attack on the election”, but nothing else in the report that describes the nature of the attacks comes close to eliminating any reasonably skilled hackers from having done it.
