My husband had chickens he raised from babies. He'd eat the eggs. Me, personally, I couldn't eat the eggs.. not because Im an egg hater.. but after cracking open one to put in an omelet..and seeing eyes stare up at me..
Anyway, I know chickens aren't as dumb as we think, and I don't like the thought of "inhumane" beatings and alleged "cruelty". however.. chickens are part of the food chain. And you sure as hell wouldnt see me standing in front of a KFC in a silly chicken suit. These people have nothing better to do? sheesh.
I ought to watch out, eh? Most of my chickens died in a coop fire caused by a faulty heater. Those that didnt fry darn near froze to death. I don't think PETA would like to have heard the jokes that day.. LOL

It's a fact that there is a certain percentage of animal parts in all our foods-Grains included, due to bugs, rodents, etc slipping into the machinery. The government actually allows a certain percentage. Hmm.. do those hypocritical PETAns realize they eat meat too, whether they like it or not. Ha Ha.. jokes on them

So, if he raped a 13 year old girl when his daughter was 3... and this is the first time he's seen his daughter since released from prison in 2004, WHY in Heavens name would the mother let him see her unsupervised? My daughter has 2 macaws upstairs in the bedroom next to my wonderful son, who gets really upset at loud noises. Her birds have taken to saying " shut the $&@# up".
Now my 2 African grey's only say cute things, because I threatened family. My greys will imitate perfectly the voice of the person who they are imitating. So, if they say foul things, I'll know exactly whose mouth to soap up! The worst they do is mumble under their breath.

You ARE kidding, right? Come on.. if a guy is willing to stick his appendage into any available hole without ever checking first to find out if there's another option....
Im not saying it is right to lie about ANYTHING, but to say this kid had a right to take matters into his own hands. Well if he took matters into his own hands in the first place, he'd have realized the deception. Maybe he should be more ashamed of what HE did than what the other guy did.

Personally, I like those handicapped toilets.. much cleaner(less used) and easier to crouch over. I don't imagine I'll use public toilets when I get older and the knees give out.

That's not an inmate number, is it? LOL because the worst thing I ever did was lie to my ex husband abut what time I came home from the donut shop after work.

Some of these punishment ideas are quite good. Im not sure if I can decide between the impaling or the injection with worm larvae. I think a nice tiny, open cage in the outskirts of town. No bed, no food, no grass, no toilet. No taxpayers money. Just a cage. And if the townspeople want to use nailguns, pesticides, blowguns, blowtorches, or just pieces of roadkill, they are free to do so. A quick death isn't acceptable in this case. Nor is ANY amount of freedom.

Well, I think it's ugly. It reminds me of that gross.. THING they make contestants eat on "Fear Factor"..(minus the droopy ole breasts, of course)

Recently, either New York or Philadelphia news had a story where a parent forgot baby in car, with the same tragic results. On that broadcast, they did mention an alarm being worked on that would ding if there was still weight in the car seat when the door was opened. So perhaps it will be a reality.
When my kids were babies, they did have to go in the back seat, and I very much disliked it because to focus the rearview mirror on the child would take it off the road. I never forgot one back there.(Although a few times I DID try to leave one or the other at a store LOL) I always check car before locking door, or getting back in. I can't understand how this childs father did not notice her.Yet at the same time I understand how distracted todays world can leave us. Still seems impossible to "forget" a child. But he will be punished every day of his life.

If a million of us moved to a foreign country, you can bet they wouldn't all suddenly learn to speak English for our sake. Heck, no!
I find it troubling that I should have to "Press 1" to hear a voice menu in English. Even more troubling is a telemarketing call I recieved a few weeks ago..in Spanish!
( I assume my Italian last name was interpreted as Spanish??) Nonetheless, when I informed the woman that contrary to popular beliefs, SOME of us still speak English, she very politely apologized ( in English, I might add) and hung up.
What I find most troubling though, is the fact that someone would have to propose to make English the official language of Americans. Yet, I am oh so glad they proposed it. As for it upsetting the non-English speaking communities, I say.. TOUGH. If someone is going to come here, earn money sent back to their own country, they should at least have the decency to learn to communicate. They certainly should not expect us to have to adapt to them.
Our past generations have all come from other countries,and learned the language. Future generations should follow suit.

Lils Beany disappeared somewhere, and Im a lil too busy to find it, so...
I still think of you all daily, and worry, and pray. Sometimes I can clearly hear the phonecall in my head, and thinking of it, and the pain you all are enduring still brings tears to my eyes. I watch Eric do something (like FINALLY graduate), and while experencing my own joy, it also saddens me that you will not experience the same joys.
Life can be so unfair..
