I would appreciate prayers for my FIL. He’s in his 80’s and has had dementia (vascular) for many years. Otherwise, he has been very healthy, fit, and active. He walks a mile/day. His main issues up have been memory loss and confusion. He is in memory care and we’ve been told many times he is sweet and cooperative. We visit him 2-3 times a week and he’s been happy - he says he likes the caregivers, food, and the other residents. He has been very engaged in activities and with other residents. I hope it’s ok to post this vanity - I am headed on vacation and I want something to read that is not political, PC, preachy or self-help. I just want to read something that is well-written, light and interesting. I already read the Bible daily so this is in addition to that. I don’t mind romance added in, but I prefer historical fiction. I don’t like historical fiction that has been edited to the point of being unrealistic or or with a liberal agenda. So, I want to do something nice for our local law enforcement because they are awesome and I just hate how they are being misrepresented. So I am coming up with some ideas for a gift basket, so far I have candy bars, notepads, pens... I saw some pretty cool visor clips with a prayer on it... Any other ideas?
