We have been happy with our homeschool curriculum to date using the K-12 Curriculum. But we just hit American History before 1865. It is pabablum about Native Americans respecting the land blah blah. Don't even need to read the rest. Glancing thru the rest, it seems like a pretty standard left-wing treatment of the subject. So my question is, do any FREEPERS have recommendations for American History Curricula and are solidly conservative and factual. Appropriate for a bright 5th or 6th grader. We like to teach off a curriculum if possible rather than a text book or scattered books.

I want to open a discussion about how to set up an infrastructure for civil disobedience in refusing to pay the extortionate policy increases coming. One model I have become acquainted with during some family history research is the Italian Fraternal Societies in Colorado in the 1890's. Members paid dues; and when one got sick, the society helped with medical expenses. Successful experiments in this regard typically involve a fairly tight knit community who knows most everyone and can tell when someone is taking advantage. My suggestion would be to start talking Dr's into becoming contracted providers to a coop....

Caucuses are about to start in Colorado. Our precinct caucus in in our home. We are trying to fit more than 50 Republicans in our home. This is four times the previous largest turnout for this precinct!
