Does anyone know the current legality of subliminal messages? Have they reduced the amount of time a frame or series of frames need to play? It seems to me there has been an increase in either "mistakes" by the broadcaster ...where they start one video, and then cut it short and go to something else ...could be more errors,or perhaps they have shortened the legal length of time a frame(s) needs to show.

Good for this Mom ...yes, an un provoked attack on a sex offender, and while that is a little over the top ...I say good for her. Isn't it amazing that criminally harmless gays are aware enough to find "gay friendly" communities and thus self segregate themselves ...but these sex offenders drop in where ever they want and bring fear to the life of families and young kids around them. Oprah needs to interview this woman and comp her 1M ...for her "statement" on behalf of society and our children ...generally I can't stand Oprah ...but she owes us (another 18 mths of this economy and she'll wish she didn't push Obama) and this would be a good start for her to redeem herself.

Isn't everyone's latest complaint about the past 10-15 years is how every kid gets an award in soccer? ...just for showing up ..no need to actually perform well ..no one keeps score. Well now it's the adults turn ...keep your home even if you can't pay for it.

It also occured to me that since the Senate and house has spent their entire budget and then some in one bill ...we should now lay them all off ...no severance packages, I doubt that's in their existing benefits package ...just let them all go! It's not like they are ogin to "oversee" the actual spending in the bailout ...there is no process in place for that!

I hope the FBI and SEC,don't fail to recognize the largest junk bond scandal of all time that seems to have also been played out over the past couple years ...I trust the rolls at the local fed peds will be increasing.

Please investigate correlation between peanut allergies and autism (medical community will deny any relationship ) but look at the onset dates of sudden increase in cases along with the population effected (children) and the rate of occurence ...seems like the same thing might be triggering both symptoms/diseases.

This is nothing new. I was a manager at a very reputable, family owned department store in Phila back in the 95 ...the day after Christmas contributed to my flight from retail forever. There was a crowd of about 100 people ...some with babies/toddlers who rushed in the moment the doors opened (i’m fairly sure we even had instructions to leave the escalators shut off) ...I clearly recall one woman dragging her toddler by the arm while the kid screamed in pain ..it was nuts!! and if you’re curious, mostly if not all were white females.

I wonder if the UAW has given any thought to "buying" the big three themselves and have mostly/complete employee ownership? Wasn't that a common way to "bailout" troubled businesses in the past? As I recall employee ownership is usually very sucessful ...(OK so stockownership at Enron was leathal ..but lets get past it) I seem to recall A&P turning into Superfresh as just one example.

I would like more information about the female voters and exactly what influences their vote. So many of the interviews I heard it seemed like the women were firmly for Obama, but their spouse ..well not much comment there. Is it really just about abortion or are there other issues? Including the look of the candidate ..and don’t tell me it ain’t so ...Jack proved that a long time ago.
It would be interesing to see the results of marketing survey that put a really gorgeous guy as the prolife choice and some fat ugly old guy as the prochoice ...can they separate the two issues??

When I was a kid my Mom was against vouchers because she believed that public schools would only improve if everyone had ownership. I attended public grade school in Philadelphia and had pretty good , sometimes black, teachers. I succeeded in college though because I was fortunite enough to attend a Catholic HS. The public schools today are in choas ...they don’t even use a standard calendar anymore ..they teach everyday math (a non traditional math course out of Chicago) and on and on. The ownership arguement is meaningless because the parents don’t really care themselves about academics ...and even if they do are often powerless to fight the system. My kids are in Catholic school and I wish I had the extra money to send to this girls parents to get her moved into Catholic school. And hey maybe that is the answer ....Let’s push for vouchers for active military families!!! It would be a start ...maybe we can tag it onto one of laws they sign in the middle of the night.
GIVE $$ to the Catholic schools if you can ...my kids are singing to a group of Vets on Tues ...Proud to be an American, GOD bless the USA. From what I hear around here ..anyone that shows up at a Pennsylvania public school in uniform gets sent away ...they use the anti-recuiter thing as excuse...but the effect is the same.

Someone called here last night, yes after the election, asking me about my stand on abortion. I couldnt help but think they are trying to come up with “evidence” it was Sarah’s fault..when in reality McCain failed in the debates and Bush came out with the 700B bail out and other failed decisions and overall bad ratings right in the middle of the campaign...I mean really ...blame Palin when in fact everyone knew it was political suicide to put Bush or Cheney on the stage ...what a bunch of crap.

Had to look him (Steele) up on Wikipedia ...but for one thing ...while Ayers was blowing up buildings ...Steele was singing in a choir and making National Honor Society in his highschool ...a time Obama spent stoned. I don’t see the similar background and principles you do ....I see a black guy but beyond that there are no similarities between what I know of Steele and Ayers or Obama. Steele worked hard and prayed while Ayers and Obama plotted to over throw the U.S. Government.

I am from PA and not a racist. After futher reflection I now believe the only asset Obama has is indeed the color of his skin. He is a socialist and Biden knows it. What's really bad is he is learning the tough lessons of childhood most city kids figure out by the time they are teenagers ...if you hang out with the wrong crowd you will get into trouble. I saw it a lot growing up ...kids trying to win the almighy popularity contest would hang around with anyone and most time it had tragic results. Obama's associations are horrifing. I pray for my children's future and the future of this country.

A typical Sunday morning around here ...I’m surfing Free Rep and two of my kids are playing “tent” with sheets over my furniture....I clicked on the link and they both ran over and watched the entire thing. My two year old was moving her head back and forth to the music and even started marching at one point.

I watched the Ayers documentary that was posted here a couple days ago (thanks for the education). At the very end it gives details about the members lives,post coming out. The one group name looked familiar , and sure enough when I goggled it guess who came up? Mumia Abu Jamal ...you want to take Philly?? present that connection and every cop, fire firefighter and I dare say half the teachers union might come out for Mc Cain. It might not hurt to mention MOVE ...the similarities are interesting
