PA racist

Posted on 10/26/2008 1:29:48 PM PDT by motherof2

I am from PA and not a racist. After futher reflection I now believe the only asset Obama has is indeed the color of his skin. He is a socialist and Biden knows it. What's really bad is he is learning the tough lessons of childhood most city kids figure out by the time they are teenagers ...if you hang out with the wrong crowd you will get into trouble. I saw it a lot growing up ...kids trying to win the almighy popularity contest would hang around with anyone and most time it had tragic results. Obama's associations are horrifing. I pray for my children's future and the future of this country.

he's not even really black. I mean, wouldn't it be great if Jonas Blane was president? No bad guy would want to mess with him!

Why should you preface your comments with "I'm not a racist"?

Does any criticism or even opposition to someone as a candidate based on race equate to racism?

The African Communist Alien is running on his race alone. As far as ideas and politics, his are merely old Bolshevism, 1930's quack socialism. If Biden had spewed the same crap in the beginning of the race, you think he'd be the top of their ticket?

All the black and brown people in this country are voting for him precisely because he is not white. Is anyone foaming at the mouth because of their obvious racial solidarity?

Opposing this guy because of his race is completely in bounds. He has nothing but malice on his mind for the Evil Caucasians. Why should anyone willfully ignore that?

And if the majority voting for "one of their own" is wrong, i.e. racism, then why has the Left screamed for decades about "majority rule" in South Africa and the former Rhodesia? It's OK there but not here?

I’m sort of peach colored - who should I vote for?

Just kidding of course - you have a good point about “majority rule” and it’s good when the majority are black but not when they’re white.

T minus 9 on the Election Day countdown. I sit breathlessly awaiting Jack Murtha's latest insult to his constituency.

I wonder what the Intrade over/under is on a western Pennsylvanian being called 'white trash' this week?

I gave money to the GOP of PA so you better come through for Russell and McCain.

I was born in Carnegie.

My father was born in Beaver Falls.

My father's father was also born in Beaver Falls.

Unfortunately, I currently live in The People's Republik of Illinois.

I agree with everything that you said. If Obama was white, he would have been laughed out of the primary. He's an immature baby (witness his constant whining about being dissed by McCain/Palin), and has no business being in charge of a country like the US -- especially at this time in history with a financial crisis and the War on Terror. Explain to me how he's going to handle real "bad guys" out there in the real world. I can't believe voters don't have a problem with his having mentors like William Ayers, Rev. Wright, Fr. Pfleger, etc. and think that his $4.3 trillion programs and wanting to raise taxes are okey-dokey.

I hope to God that we're able to pull this one out for McCain.

I doing my best here. $upporting both McCain/Palin and Russell...(but I am not in Russell's district...so can't vote for him).

Barry is coming to the Mellon Arena tomorrow...I predict bad mojo for the Pens. We all see what happened because Dan Rooney had a FR featuring Michelle MyBelle last week at his house...awful, just awful 'Ben can't throw a football' juju. And all that Socialist talk is going to suck the life out of the 'guins Igloo too...

Why should you preface your comments with "I'm not a racist"?

I think that the reason she said that is because of

1) Obama saying that small-town Pennsylvanians are bitter, clinging to God and guns, and

2) Murtha saying that western Pennsylvanians are racists, and then rednecks.

Having spent some time in PA, I can tell you that most folks in the “T” and in western PA are far from racist. I tend that Philadelphia is probably the cauldron of racial hate in PA, especially among the Proles of BOTH races (Hispanics and Asians are negligible in Philly, in terms of social influence).

The Penguins are on the road, FWIW.

0bama is just trying to copy Sarah Palin by going to a hockey arena.

Pretty lame, IMO.

I hope you are doing better... 0bama just will leave his 'bad vibes' behind him. Same way I bet alot of Steelers hobnobed w/Michelle 0 last week...I blame bad 0bamaMoJo (instead of a really sucky offensive line day) on the loss today.

That is my story, and I am sticking to it.

The true racists are the ones continually trying to blame everyone else of racism because that is all they see, “race”.

Baltimore and Cleveland won today. Steve Bisciotti and the Lerners are pretty conservative. There’s always time to switch allegiance from the Steelers (whose problems, frankly are far beyond the politics of their owners). ;)
