" There have been two special elections to the Senate recently and two left wing Democrats were elected, Markey in Massachusetts and Booker in New Jersey. Blue states are still blue." As I said, its the Great Lake States they are about to lose according to trends and polls. Holding only the Coasts will not be enough seats to contol the Senate anytime soon.

Nahhh I Dont Think So to All

I think many of you are fearing one thing (Dems trying to take total control) while completely ignoring the much more realistic one - they are desperately trying to set up some kind of relevancy for the future (which is also why Immigration is so important to them)

Look at the political map as it stands. Now look at trends and polls in the Mid-West.

Dems are on the verge of losing control of the Mid-West/Lake States just like they lost the South in the 90s. They know this is going to happen, and when it does, it might be 20+ years before they can take the House or Senate again (hence Immigration needed to try and retake some ground in the South in their minds - they don’t want to be on the losing side of the coin like Republicans were for so long leading up till the 90s)

These are not the first shots of a communist regime, these are the final shots of a Libral one.

The dream is almost over for them. Everywhere you look Liberalism is failing, Governments are collapsing or turning power over to the private market, and Liberal ideas are being pushed out of the majority of the country to the point where they will only have a stronghold on the two coasts.

This is to try and get enough judges stacked in to at least keep Liberalism alive in the courts while it disappears otherwise (Dems might still get the Presidency from time to time, but Congress is likely a pipe-dream in the future)

The funny thing is, the only real outcome will the massive influx of Judge Impeachment hearings in the future, as everyone will want to impeach those they don’t agree with to stack the courts with those who tow their party line.

Once Republicans take control of the Senate, it is probably likely they start gutting the 9th of that partisan, unconstitutional bunch - and Obama will have a bitch of a time getting the seats filled since anyone he puts up that isn’t constitutional enough will be regected by the then majority party

In the long run, this could actually lead to a more balanced court overall

Wow, the desperation has reached historic levels in the Democrat party. Pitiful

This will bite them in the rear bigtime though, and they will be crying bloody murder on their way to obscurity

I hope they aren’t successful, honestly

If there is no bailout of the InsCos when the death spiral kicks in, they might be hit so hard that they literally have to fold - good luck putting healthcare back together at that point.

I hate, hate, hate the idea of bailing them out but 1) we can’t have them going away, if they did we will ensure Single Payer 2) I would love, love, love the Dems to have to explain WHY we are bailing them out for 3 years (meaning the three years leading up to 2016)

Ideally Reid will refuse to bring it up and Repubs get all the positives of this stance without the fail success would bring

I think that was my bad, actually. Glad we agree though
(although I do find it hard to believe anyone honestly disagress, really. Even if a person feels he didn’t act alone, his motive for being involved still remains the same. Its about the only thing not really in question at all, lol)

Yeah, the info is readily available

Sirhan Sirhan was an extremely pro-arab, pro-revolution Communist, killing what he saw as a “fascist pig” Kennedy. This specific book might be a good source which could spawn other searches if you so choose

    http://books.google.com/books?id=mwhydb-MLeMC&pg=PA216&lpg=PA216&dq=sirhan+sirhan+communist&source=bl&ots=_W_kxpkuEs&sig=_H8_-Q8duAkyLQQmeCYanFNQDCI&hl=en&sa=X&ei=bhGMUrLRMcHF2QWxoICwBg&ved=0CDIQ6AEwBA

James Earl Ray was a registered Democrat who was even working at the George Wallace campaign office. He was absolutely positive Wallace would win the Presidency and pardon Ray for the killing of King - a person Ray was similarly positive Wallace would want him to kill. Links on that info is everywhere, including even his Wiki page

"Oswald was still a loner with much that was personal and complicated and emotional in his motivation, not somebody who was trying to achieve a political goal" If politics was not his motive, then why was it his second attempt to kill a politician because of their stances against Leftist ideals? Or are you just completely unaware it was his (at the very least) second political assasination attempt?

    Yeah, no kidding!

I can’t stand how Conservatives allow for it to be “the Lincoln assasination” instead of the very real plot which was in effect.

THAT situation was very much the “larger conspiracy”, and Liberals don’t want you to remember any of that - instead one guy went nuts

I would include the RFK and MLK assasinations in your list, they are extremely important to show that Liberals have a very high likelyhood of targeting the very people they want to act like they support.

The list is also desperately missing leftie terrorists groups such as the KKK, Weather Underground, etc

“It all seems highly unlikely, and more examples of rumours and bluff.”

The thing is (and no one seems to be mentioning this, I might add) — what happens if Obama’s “peace talks” fail?

Right now it is rumored Iran is 1-6 months from a bomb

Obama wants to “talk it out”

...so, what if we cant “talk it out”?

If the talks fail, doesn’t that kind of mean we ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO go to war? But who in their right mind thinks Obama will?

Israel & SA discussing this would only make sense in that case

So because he did something bad in the past, he cant possibly do anything good in the future... that’s your argument?

And because of that, we should stand with Progressives railing against the Bill instead of with Tea Party members voting for it? Seriously?

    *sigh*

...no matter how you feel about Upton, HIS BILL REPEALS A MAJOR PART OF WHAT MAKES OBAMACARE EVER POSSIBLY WORK, and likely crushes the Exchange to the point it will never get back on track - how is that in any way possible bad?

We are being offered 90% of what we want and people here are screaming ‘nooo, that would be the worst thing in the world! He’s eeeeeevvvvviiiiilllll!!!1!’ - its straight pitiful how entrenched the stupidity seems to be on the topic...

Or here let’s put it this way; Headline at the Washington Post:
“The Insiders: The Upton bill is the biggest threat to Obamacare so far”

...yet so-called “conservatives” here: “nooooo, don’t do it!!!1!”

But go ahead, stand with the Progressives screaming bloody murder over this bill if you like; I’ll instead stand with the TEA Party Reps who voted for it

Nahhh I Dont Think So to GeronL

Ahh, but it really is possibly ending.

    Think about it:

Reagan - shrinks Government like crazy, people love him
Bush1 - breaks his promise, grows it a bit (he gets booted)
Clinton - 2 years in, the people say “F* this” leading to “the era of Big Government is over”
Bush2 - a progressive in our mist, and people turn to Dems trying to get away from it
Obama - 2 years in, people again say “F* this” once more but are unsuccessful this time around as Dems do everything possible to try and hold onto their dream.

Their problem holding onto it much longer though?
...Unions are losing membership everywhere (meaning less cash & power)
...Dem cities are going bankrupt everywhere
...Governments everywhere are turning over traditionally Government-Responsibilities to private, for-profit companies (meaning fewer Government employees)
...People are fed up with the Teachers Union stronghold on education
...Climate Change is being exposed as a fraud, so they don’t even have that to fall back on
...the Mid-West is waking up to the destructive Dem policies, testing the waters with Republicans at a high rate (similar to what the South in the ‘90s.)

I really do see this as a turning point in the country. prior to the 90s, Dems flat dominated across the country never allowing Repubs to take much control of the House/Senate. Now we are in a position where it looks like the exact opposite can be true for the foreseeable future (even die-hard Libs are saying Dems taking control of the House again anytime in the next 10 years or more might be a pipe-dream. Dems end up losing the Mid-West and the Senate could quite possibly be the same way for years and years to come)

And the best part of it is the fact that Libertarians are stealing away the Youth Vote from the Dems, so a Libertarian/TEA-Party joint push could completely dominate the Republican Policies over this time-frame (RINOs know this oh too well, hence the fear of the TEA-Party rising)

“WHEN this goes down, if the Obama — if health care, the Affordable Care Act is deemed a failure, this is the end — I really mean it — of liberal government.”

    ...there, fixed it for him

This bill, the horrific bumbling of the Website and Obama being reelected has turned into about the best thing that Conservatives could ever ask for, really.

...Now Romney didnt repeal it - meaning we are spared years of “Repubs took your health care away”

...Now Obama has been exposed for all to see as pure incompetent over this and the endless scandals which have broken since reelection

...Now “Big Government can do this” has people so turned off of them they are mocking Obamacare at football games

...Now not only will they not be able to say “look, Obamacare works but it left some holes so we need full control thru a single-payer”, they are likely to see Obamacare fold completely and the market go even further free-market then was possible prior to this debacle

...Now Dems have lost/are losing whatever credibility they built up after the Bush years; squandering it on an Utopian Fantasy that has made them a laughing stock

It sure seems as though (or at least I like to think, at least) God is up there looking down on us shaking his head, angry we didn’t just trust in his plans all along.

Yeah, sure looks like the Tea Party LOST to me:

“Both opposed the health overhaul, but Riser wanted only repeal. McAllister said repeal had no chance with Democrats leading the Senate, so he said Congress should work on improvements to the law.”

...unless “improving the law” is the new tea Party memo I must have missed...

McAlliister was an “outsider”, but sounds like a “Moderate” at best based on the article.
