I'm trying to figure out why they are questioning the amounts paid to Cohen. We know he was reimbursed for the $130,000. Surely he was paid to get that "project" done. There had to be plenty of "billable" communications between Cohen and her attorney and the other attorney involved. Was Cohen supposed to work for nothing.
Let's be real...Trump was being blackmailed...
I do believe Cohen called the shots...for payment to be made in $35,000 increments that covered an entire year...12 months. So what....he worked....he got paid.
I’m still trying to get a crime out of this. The fact that everything is on the books...tells me that nothing was hidden. You don’t write “paying blackmail money to Stormy Daniels via Cohen” in your ledger.
I think all the receipts paid to Cohen says....Cohen was a regular attorney on a retainer. I believe that. The fact that he paid $130,000 blackmail money to Stormy is for that alone...surely he got paid for working on that and that’s included in that billing as well as for other work. We need to know what else Cohen did for Trump that year. The fact that they divided it was more likely than not...how Cohen wanted to be paid and he billed accordingly. Nothing to do with Trump.
The very fact that it is entered in the books is a reality that Cohen was due monies and he got paid. But it appears what he was really after...was to be part of Trump administration.
The Bill...HR2 was passed by the House May 2023 and forwarded to the Senate. Schumer will not bring it up for a vote. It’s been posted over and over...Go after the Senate...the House did their job and Johnson has nothing to do with the present status.
